Post-Oriental Music Anthology
A compilation against War. Our way to speak out. I composed a piece with field recordings I made in Isfahan. A school class of little girls was there. They were trying out my equipment, one by one introducing themselves. The piece is called “Hi, my name was… Or the Silence when the children are gone.” I heard them over and over while composing this work during a time in which military strikes are very likely to happen in Iran. The compilation also includes works from Ehsan Saboohi, Dave Seidel, Hardi Kurta, Jospeh Benzola, Emad Khankeshipour, George Christian, Itaru Owan, RDKPL, N-Toll, and myself.
