"English" by Sanaz Toossi at The Other Place, Stratford-upon-Avon
The European Premiere of Pulitzer Prize winning play “English” by Sanaz Toossi will be performed by the Royal Shakespeare Company at The Other Place in Stratford-Upon-Avon. It will run from May 9th until June 1st and then move on to the Kiln Theatre in London. My field recordings from Tehran, Isfahan, and Shiraz found their way into the play. Sound designer George Dennis has incorporated them into the sonic landscape of these performances.
