Best of Karnatic Compositions at the Conservatory of Amsterdam

Being a student again this past year was just wonderful! I enjoyed Rafael Reina’s classes, all the new material he from his current research on Karnatic techniques, working with cool and talented classmates on the weekly assignments, and finally writing Metal Tiger for Oboe, Tenor Sax, and Tenor Trombone. Ainhoa Perez Etxepare, Aina Font, and Augustinas Alisauskas really rocked my piece and apart from scoring well, we got chosen to be featured in the concert of the best pieces of the year. Well, I guess if I do go back to school, I better do it right…. So looking forward to the concert at the Conservatory of Amsterdam!
