Post Paradise at iii

Wonderful to be able to play this concert at iii tonight. The series is called Post-Paradise, which I think is the coolest name. “TONIGHT! Post Paradise 26 with Maya Felixbrodt, James McIlwrath and Leonie Roessler! Experimental concert series!

James will be performing a new work, a jumbled meditation on the word position and how we relate to our positions.

Leonie will be performing a live set based on a field recording of the warning siren that is tested in The Hague every first Monday of the month at noon. She will accompany the siren sounds with an original National slide guitar from the 1950s.

Maya will premiere an experiment; the 3 parts of Traveling Viola will come together in space and time, with Tatiana Rosa as video artist and Maya playing the viola and moving.”
