Panjim and Then – Installation in the Catacombes in Yazd

My installation “Panjim and Then” made one last stop in the city of Yazd. Soheil took it there while I was back in Tehran teaching. He said that the folks there were lovely, super helpful, and even granted us the catacombs right below the mosque. My installation was allowed to be on there until prayer time. I think the sound was kind of projected into a tunnel through which people could walk then. So cool! Apparently about 50 people came to listen - super since it was last-minute planning. I am sorry I missed those moments, but will go back to do something there on my next visit to Iran.
