Kalpit's Kitchen at Lights Out Listening, Glasgow

From Glasgow to Shiraz. On March 4, the radio version of “Kalpit’s Kitchen” is played at Lights Out Listening in Glasgow, among other interesting works of composers and radio makers. At the same time it was also running at Motorkhoone in Shiraz. And that really is my intention with this ongoing project. To recreate a space, and to allow it to travel so that people can listen to an impression of someone else’s living space, but in the form of a carefully crafted composition. For in the end it is sound that lets us hear what we all have in common, while our eyes focus in on the differences we have.
