Blind Tapes at The Grey Space

Many thanks to Luka Ivanović for inviting me to play on the The Hague Edition of Blind Tape Quartets at The Grey Space in The Hague. Luka takes this project to different cities and four musicians play ten minutes of music live, unaware of who or what is also being recorded onto their tape. Little did I know that I my Quartet also contained Cristiano Melli’s take of a manic Brazilian tongue twister. Mixed with Germaine Sijstermans and Storm op de Maan, the outcome was actually very beautiful, with all of us having left enough space for the other performers to be heard. Luka curated this event lovingly, had decorated the space, and put so much attention into making each of us a beautiful tape to take home.
