Three Rooms – Berlin
The Motabar-Roessler Duo is traveling to Berlin to finish this year’s season with some concerts. Join us at Kulturraum Mainzer Straße 7 for Three Rooms. We will be joined by Composer Ben Richter, for a piece which he wrote for the Motabar-Roessler duo with himself on the accordion. He will also play a piece which I wrote for him for accordion and soundtrack. The rest of the set will feature brand-new material by Sohrab and me. (Sohrab Motabar: live electronics, Leonie Roessler: classical guitar and soundscapes)
Our set will be followed by improvisation with the following artists: Andrea Parkins (accordion, electronics), Ayumi Paul (violin), Lucas Leidiger (piano), Saara Wallraf (concept, composition, curation).
