Midsummer night at the Cemetery
The Rhijnhof cemetery in Leiden holds a service for the people who buried someone during the previous year every midsummer night. The service is followed by a concert which takes place on the cemetery grounds. My piece Joshua Tree Revisited will be performed by Ameli Epp (horn), Sahil Bahl (amplified steel string guitar), and me (electronics) in front of a wall of urns.
The cemetery is absolutely beautiful and the concert is open to the public. See you there. (Bus 43 goes straight from Den Haag Centraal to the cemetery.)
